Teen X Space Race

The SPACE RACE is a 5K run/walk that starts at the Coal Creek Trail head at Veteran's Park in Cedar City. The route follows a paved trail through the park system and into the mouth of Cedar Canyon, where runners will experience a slight incline as they move towards the turnaround loop. Experience all the beauty of Southern Utah as you enjoy time with friends and family and "Space Race" for a cause, returning to Veteran's Park for the finish line celebration and prizes.

Although the trail is quite wide, runners are asked to stay to the right and communicate clearly if they are passing other runners by saying "On your left." Participants can wave and cheer for the lead runners who are coming back down the trail towards the finish line.

While children and strollers are welcome at this event, parents are asked to help their children follow race protocols and keep the trail as open and safe as possible for all runners.
