Sandy Balloon Festival

Don’t miss Sandy’s 17th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024! Enjoy early morning hot air balloon launches on Friday and Saturday morning, weather permitting. Work hands-on with the pilots as they prep the balloons for the morning launches-- they always need some extra helpers both mornings. Show up early for a chance to get hands-on experience, and sign up on that morning for a chance of a free tethered ride 50 - 80 feet in the air!

Saturday evening there will be a hot air balloon glow, food trucks, music, free face painting & balloon twisting, and drone show!

This is a FREE event to the public.

LAUNCHES :
Saturday at sunrise (approximately 6:30 a.m.)

GLOW EVENT:
Saturday  7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
City Promenade - 10000 S. Centennial Parkway

DRONE LIGHT SHOW:
Saturday at 10:00 p.m.
