Red Butte Garden Sundance Film Festival - My Old ***

Pack a picnic and bring your friends for film festival favorites under the stars!

Free entry through the Red Butte Garden Amphitheatre gates.

The amphitheatre is located at the mouth of Red Butte Canyon and even on the warmest day it can get chilly and breezy at night so be sure to bring blankets, socks, and jackets - layer up!

All films are shown rain or shine, but may be delayed or canceled in the case of lightning or high winds.

Only service animals are allowed in Red Butte Garden and the amphitheatre. Please leave pets and comfort animals at home.

Lawn Seating

To allow for the best view of the movie screen for everyone, blankets and/or low back chairs are recommended. Regular camp chairs are too tall and can block the view of the screen for guests seated behind you.

About the Film

The summer before college, bright-yet-irreverent Elliott comes face-to-face with her older self during a mushroom trip. The encounter spurs a funny and heartfelt journey of self-discovery and first love as Elliott prepares to leave her childhood home.
