Memorial Day Ceremony at Alpine City Cemetery

Residents and friends of Alpine are invited to attend the Alpine City Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday at 8:00 am at the bowery area of the Alpine City Cemetery.   This is an opportunity to join together and honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military and also honor military veterans still living.

This event will be a military style ceremony with honor guard raising the flag to half mast, a military chaplain offering remarks and a non-denominal prayer, recognition of Alpine’s living veterans, a sing along of the Military Medley led by the Alpine Youth Council, remarks from a military speaker and taps to honor the fallen.

At the conclusion please join us for light refreshments and take advantage of the opportunity to meet and speak with our Alpine veterans.  Your expression of “Thank you for serving for ME” is always appropriate and appreciated.
