Welcome to HorrorFest International Film Festival, where the world of horror cinema comes alive! HorrorFest was born from a passion for horror storytelling. It started as a modest two-day event in 2002, curating classic horror gems and showcasing the talents of local Utah filmmakers. Each scream and shiver ignited a spark that drove us to greater heights. In 2020, HorrorFest evolved into the HorrorFest International Film Festival, attracting films from around the globe.

Whether you're a seasoned fan or a curious newcomer, welcome to a world where fear takes center stage, and imagination knows no limits. We invite you to embrace the darkness, experience the terror, and become part of the HorrorFest International family.

HorrorFest International is proudly powered by the Film and Media Alliance of Southern Utah (FMASU).

This year’s HorrorFest International Film Festival (taking place from October 16-19 in St. George, Utah) is set to unload four days of spooktacular cinematic thrills. Attendees can expect a diverse lineup of horror-centric feature and short film titles from all over the world. HorrorFest will also host filmmaker Q&A’s, industry panels, special guest conversations, after parties, and an awards ceremony. Add to that emerging talent, a mystery 80s screening, and a handful of surprise twists. In the end, it’ll all make for a terrifying 4-day get-together you won’t want to miss!
