Check-In Begins

Arrive early and get settled. Check-in for the physical portion of the 2024 FilmQuest begins! Here you’ll get registered, receive your swag bag, VIP pass, and get the lowdown on the venue and what to expect. The earlier you are, the more you can get comfortable and prepare to enjoy the festival!

“Somebody Is Watching You” – Fear & Paranoia Shorts Block #1
Films include: Birdcage, Daisy, Hi! You Are Currently Being Watched, Mission (by Harfang), The Chase, The Eyes of Marge, and Wild Animal

“The Beehive Banquet” – Utah Shorts Block #2
Films include: Disinfectant, Night Shift, Origin, Proserpina, Star Wars: The Tales of Boba Fett, The Ghost in the Road, The Making of The Making Of, The Witch of Endor, and Whales of the High Desert

Opening Night Red Carpet
Glam up and get some red carpet photos, where you’ll feel like the movie star you are! Have fun with your family, friends, cast, and crew on the 30 foot FilmQuest red carpet! Utah filmmakers also let it shine as they prepare to rock the 2024 festival in style!

“BA“ – Opening Night Feature
Our Opening Night sci-fi feature film BA comes at you to show you how the business is done, with an otherworldly dark fantasy tale about a father who will do whatever it takes to provide for his daughter – by even becoming death himself! Includes the short film written by and starring a Utah native in Retreat and the animated fantasy/sci-fi short Shimmer.
