HEAR THE BELLS

The BYU Centennial Carillon Tower has stood as a symbol of freedom and spirit for 49 years. This year we present BYU Carillonneurs Don Cook and Josh Fenwick. Don has performed or organized this event since his appointment to the organ faculty in 1991. Josh, a student in BYU's civil engineering program, has been playing the carillon for two years. He especially enjoys arranging and playing music from movie scores. Their program will have something for everyone! This is one of the more simple and leisurely events of the festival. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and picnics to the shady lawns surrounding the tower to enjoy a free evening concert. The performer is visible on a large monitor, and visitors can enjoy a short demonstration of the practice keyboard after the performance.
