Toughest 10K Galveston

The Toughest 10K Galveston offers the unique experience of allowing you to traverse what is basically an engineering masterpiece and an historic structure. The race gets underway at the Galveston County Daily News offices and the course takes runners northbound over the bridge before exiting at Tiki Island and heading back the other way over the famous bridge. The course is a typically flat, southeast Texas loop with one BIG exception: the 72-foot tall bridge that features a 3 ½ percent grade!*
