The Last Hootenanny will be one, huge sing-along of many of your favorites from the 1950s and ā€™60s - including folk, rock ā€™nā€™ roll, country, western, bluegrass, Irish and more - and it will be easy for you to participate as all of the lyrics will be projected on a large screen above the band.

This will be a family-friendly show - and you grandparents might want to bring the whole gang! The Cactus Theater has never seen anything like this - so get your tickets now and get ready to sing!

ā€œThe Old Folkiesā€ are all LHS and TTU graduates from many years ago and have been entertaining enthusiastic audiences most of their lives. The group includes longtime Hootenanny leader David Durham, guitar and vocals; Eldon Reynolds, guitar and vocals; Maggie Durham, bass and vocals and Kurt Melle, guitar and vocals.Ā  A recent addition to the lineup is John-Charles Kelly - flying in from New York City especially for this show!

Just a sampling of some of the songs you'll hear:Ā  ā€œThis Land Is Your Landā€, ā€œMichael Row the Boat Ashoreā€, ā€œAll I Have to Do Is Dreamā€, ā€œHey, Good Lookinā€™ā€, ā€œTom Dooleyā€, ā€œWill the Circle Be Unbrokenā€, ā€œCountry Roadsā€ and ā€œWhere Have All the Flowers Gone?ā€
