5pm - Art with an Expert: Al Rendón discusses photography & the legacy of Selena Quintanilla's portraits (Capitol Room, Smith Building)
Take a deep dive into art, art histories, and more with these hour-long talks presented by distinguished art professionals. Hear photographer Al Rendón and Claudia Zapata, Associate Curator of Latino Art at the Blanton Museum of Art, discuss his expansive career working with Tejano musicians across South Texas, including Selena Quintanilla.
