Rusty Axe Brewing Company

Rusty Axe Brewing starting like many other successful businesses: in a garage. Trey Allen (co-founder/co-owner & Head Brewer) began home brewing at his home in 2000, and over the next few years and lots of experimentation with successes & failures of many different brews, Trey has come up with a long ever growing list of perfected styles of different ales. But also with time and the move to Lufkin in 2016, Trey gained a following with East Texans for making quality and creative ales.

Two of those super fans, Troy & GG Tiemann were able to clearly see Trey’s talent while brewing for another brewery.

Fast forward to late 2020, Rusty Axe Brewing was founded. With the business union between Trey, Troy & GG, we quickly turned a business plan & 2 years later, the first beers were being made at Rusty Axe Brewing in Lufkin, TX.
