Rucks On Main Veterans Day Ruck March

Twice a year Rucks On Main will host a military-themed ruck march at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas to honor our Veterans and The Fallen. This ruck march is open to everyone. On Memorial and Veterans Day weekends, marchers will fill their rucksacks with UP TO 40lbs of non-perishable food items to be donated to charitable organizations. Marchers will complete a 6-mile route through downtown and historic neighborhoods in north Temple. Before the ruck march each participant will receive a t-shirt. Participants can register online, or in-person on the day of the event. Participants are not guaranteed a t-shirt if they register 30 days before the event. After completing the ruck march, marchers will gather at the Santa Fe Plaza to enjoy free food for participants, locally-brewed craft beer, and camaraderie. Once a year proceeds from the Memorial Day and Veterans Day ruck march will be donated to a Veteran led Non-Profit organization in the local community
