Did you know that 1 in 25 African Americans are impacted by a rare hereditary disease known as hATTR Amyloidosis? Join us in Houston on Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 PM, alongside Black Health Matters, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals and cardiologist, Ebere Chukwu, MD, to learn more abouwhat may be in your genetic health history. You’ll also hear  important information from a patient who is living with this condition and a patient education liaison will also be available to answer your questions. Refreshments will also be served. This event is sponsored by  the Prairie View Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Black Health Matters and Alnylam.
