Murder, Mayhem and Misadventure Walking Tour

Our annual Murder, Mayhem & Misadventure Walking Tour at the historic Oakwood Cemetery is free and covers the chilling, untimely deaths of "residents" of Oakwood portrayed by actors at their grave sites.

The approximately 1 hour walking tours highlight historical – not scary – events from the 1860s-1910s and usually starts every 15-20 minutes near the Oakwood Chapel from 10am - 3:00pm.

Kids under adult supervision are always welcome, but please leave your pets at home per Austin cemetery rules and wear closed-toed shoes.
