Mockingbird Music Festival

Mockingbird Station is excited to partner with WRR Classical 101, Friends of WRR, Open Classical, KERA, and University Crossing to present a Summer Classical Music Series. The series will bring free musical performances to the open-air amphitheater outside the Angelika Film Center. Grab your friends and family and head over to Mockingbird Station for these one-of-a-kind musical experiences.

Open Classical fills the gap present in the classical music structure for professionals, amateurs and audiences alike. They see critical structures as simple as community open mics and the ability to do regional touring to build a fanbase don't exist in the realm of classical music. Open Classical sees these missing structures as the root cause of most of the problems facing the classical industry today.
