Enjoy a guided history tour of Mission Espiritu Santo as you learn about life in and around the mission during the Spanish Colonial Era.
Goliad State Park and Historic Site's history encompasses Native American culture, Spanish colonization with the construction of Mission Espiritu Santo, and the site's restoration by the Civilian Conservation Corp. Learn why the mission was constructed, what life was like inside its walls, and how cultures clashed, came together, and learned from each other on this historic journey of Mission Espiritu Santo.
Meet on the back porch of headquarters under the oak tree a few minutes prior to tour start time.
Tour is free with park entrance ($4 per adult, free for children 12 & under).
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Bring water, especially on warmer days. There is no restroom at the mission so please take advantage of the facilities at headquarters before joining the tour.
