An informative hike led by a ranger for youth and their parents!

This hike is intended for youth and their parents.

This guided hike for Junior Rangers will go through several areas of the park. There will be several stops along the hike showing Junior Rangers how to be good stewards and how to care for the environment. At the end, each new Junior Ranger will be given a badge at the Junior Ranger ceremony.

Difficulty: Easy

Length: 1 mile, the hike will loop back to where we began

Meet: The CCC Concession building

Bring: Water, close-toed shoes, Junior Ranger Journal, something to write with.

Cost: Free with park admission. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online!

You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event; be sure you have a day pass purchased for all who attend the event.

All events subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
