Grito Festival at POST
POST Houston invites the community to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with the lively Grito Festival on September 14, featuring an indoor market, mariachi performances, a live band on the Skylawn, and more.
Kick off the day with an indoor curated market by Mercado de las Americas from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the X Atrium, showcasing Latin-inspired vendors and artisans. Throughout the day, live Mariachi and Aztec dance performances will bring energy to the space, while a free salsa dance class adds to the festive atmosphere. The party continues upstairs with live Cumbia music by Son Bayou on the Skylawn, boasting panoramic views of downtown Houston, from 8-10 p.m. The evening will conclude with a screening of Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the Z Atrium from 8:15 to 10 p.m. With its vibrant blend of culture, music and cinema, this event will be a true celebration of the Hispanic community.
