Join us for the 48th Annual South County 4th of July Parade, where we will march proudly, waving our Nation's flag and creating new memories! The largest parade between Houston and Dallas celebrates with fire engines, floats, marching bands, horses, antique cars, and much more.  The parade route is approximately 1.3 miles long, meandering through The Woodlands Town Center and Market Street, beginning and ending at The Woodlands Methodist Church.  There are always several must-see commercial floats featured in the parade. Parade announcers are located along the parade route and the Master of Ceremonies are located just above the North Commons in Market Street.  A panel of Community Celebrity Parade Judges will select the best floats and entries in ten award categories.
In honor of 50 years of progress, resilience and growth in the South County area, we come together to celebrate our shared history and look forward to a bright future.  With this in mind, this year's parade theme is "Saluting The Past. Celebrating The Future". We are honored to announce that the founder of The Woodlands, George Mitchell, posthumously, and his granddaughter, Adrienne Dreiss Ropp have been named Grand Marshals.
