Join a ranger in a hike that will teach you about the edible and medicinal plants native to the park.
This guided hike along the Elm Creek Nature Trail will teach you about the edible and medicinal plants in the park, including how the use of these plants may have changed as the needs of those who used them evolved. This hike is for all ages. We will meet at the CCC concession building where there is plenty of parking available. This hike will be nearly 2 miles in length, make sure to bring water with you.

Cost: Free with park admission. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online!
You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event; be sure you have a day pass purchased for all who attend the event.
