The fifth annual Douglas H. Thompson Road Rally Rattler Run will be Saturday 10/26/24. Checkin for this event will be in downtown Santo, TX, beginning at 7:00AM CST at Railway Express Coffee. Registration will end at 8:30AM. There will be a short drivers meeting at 8:30AM near the registration table. And, we will begin staging for the start at 9:00AM. We are continuing our tradition of offering three route options from Santo to Jacksboro. There will be a fully paved route, as well as an off pavement route with sections of pavement, and the third option will include a shorter paved route for those who would prefer to take the most direct route from Santo to Jacksboro. Each route option will “snake” it’s way through the scenic hill country of Palo Pinto and Jack Counties. All three routes will end in downtown Jacksboro.

There will be a $40 cash donation/registration fee for each vehicle entered in the road rally. The $40 will include a DHTRR sticker pack, an assigned Rattler Run number plate for each vehicle, as well as one raffle ticket for the multiple raffle drawings that will be held at the end of this event.

One hundred percent of all registration fees/donations will go directly to Jack County STOMP, which is a non-profit 501(c)3. Check them out on Facebook, as well as their website for much more information regarding their organization.

All street legal vehicle types are welcomed. All vehicles in the road rally will be entered in the rolling car show, and will be voted on by the participants in the road rally. We’ll have six trophies awarded to the 1st Place Car, 1st Place Truck, 1st Place SUV, 1st Place MC/Trike, 1st Place Daily Driver (Most Boring), and 1st Place Modified.
