Le Jardinier, the elegant French fine-dining destination by The Bastion Collection, will host an exclusive collaboration dinner with l’abeille, one of New York’s premier Michelin-starred restaurants on Tuesday, November 12. Houston marks the third stop in a four-part guest chef series featuring Michelin-starred culinary director Alain Verzeroli and his long-time protégé, executive chef Mitsunobu Nagae of l’abeille, who will be cooking alongside Le Jardinier’s executive chef, Felipe Botero.
Experience “A Taste of Autumn,” a five-course dinner ($195 per person) celebrating the enduring mentorship between these two culinary masters, joined by Le Jardinier’s executive chef, Felipe Botero. Unique menu offerings showcase the refined flavors of French cuisine with a Japanese twist featuring seasonal canapés, foie gras crème brulee with citrus and seasonal vegetable tartlet. Showstopping entrees include blue fin tuna takati with caviar, wasabi-flavored avocado and nori crisps and dry-aged duck with cumin-scented carrot extraction, ginger and sansho pepper. Dessert at Le Jardinier is one course that should never be missed, and the caramelized apple with kaffit mousse and Okinawa brown sugar ice cream ensures a delicious conclusion to your meal.
