Tennessee Soybean Festival

We invite you to visit our site for the most up to date information on festival event schedules, vendor applications, merch, and more. We are fortunate to have a collaborative effort from the University of Tennessee at Martin, local industry and businesses, leaders in agriculture, churches and community organizations, and countless other volunteers who work together to make the festival bigger and better each year. The Soybean Festival provides an opportunity for food, fun, and fellowship, all in celebration of Weakley County's cash crop- the soybean. The event pays tribute to the soybean farmer yet includes something for everyone. We hope you will make plans to join us for this year's Tennessee Soybean Festival!

Schedule of Events:

7:30am: Run for the Beans - Community Fun Run and Walk

Ready, set. run for the beans! Please join us on Saturday, September 7th for a family fun run/walk presented by Martin Running Company to celebrate Soybean Festival Weekend! Martin Running Company is ready to celebrate Soybean Saturday with a run, walk, skip, or stroll “Run For The Beans” on Saturday September 7th @ 8AM with check-in beginning at 7:00am. “Run For The Beans” will start at Martin Running Company and continue to the Brian Brown Greenway and return back to Martin Running Company. This is a free event that is welcome to all ages and abilities but will require online registration for each participant. The event distance is just under 4 miles; however, prizes will be awarded for participation and participants can complete the distance that they are comfortable with. For extra added fun, a “First Finisher Prize” will be given to the individual that completes the Greenway and is first across the finish line. This a fun, laid back event, that EVERYONE is welcome to participate in!

Open and Junior Show. Juniors receive additional premium. Animals may arrive on September 6th. For additional information, registration entries Contact Freeman Brundige at 731.446.6248. Additional entries will be accepted morning of show. Bedding for cattle is provided and current State of TN health requirements are followed.

Identical twins perform an array of stunts: wheelies, acrobatics, burnouts, tandem and many more advanced maneuvers on multiple bikes including a flip bike. They embrace their twin features by doing tricks simultaneously, interacting with each other during tricks, and even doing tricks on one bike together.

Twiggy the World-Famous Water-Skiing Squirrel is a fun and interactive performance that features a live squirrel water-skiing, along with an educational experience on the importance of water safety.

6:30pm - 11:30pm: Shaggy Concert - WKandT Amphitheater - Downtown Martin, TN

Enjoy the reggae concert from anywhere in downtown or purchase a bean zone pass for stage front access. Reserved chairs are $25 and stage front pit access are $12.50. Passes can be purchase on Eventbrite while supplies last. The Opening acts are Sophie Grey at 6:30pm and Burning Las Vegas at 7:30pm. Shaggy will hit the stage after both opening acts.
