Maggie Aldridge In Concert
Saturday, October 05, 2024 from 07:00pm to 08:30pm
Heritage Hall Theatre Of Mountain City
211 North Church Street
Maggie Aldridge is a vocalist and singer-songwriter based out of Johnson City, TN. Growing up in the Appalachian Mountains in the small town of Mountain City, Maggie made a name for herself locally as the town’s soft-spoken singer-songwriter. Her greatest musical influence came from her father who started teaching her at the young age of 4-years-old. She has lived a lot in 23 years and this is reflected in her music. Her gentle and expressive songs emphasize emotional storytelling which listeners easily find relatable.
Her voice rests at the intersection of soothing and soulful. It’s somewhere between the jazz-folk influence of Norah Jones and the pop coffeehouse sound of Ingrid Michaelson. She is content in both the intimate environment of a peaceful cafe and the upbeat vibe of a blues or jazz bar.
Maggie Aldridge is a graduate of Belmont University with a degree in Music Business. After graduation, she moved back to the mountains to help the music scene in Johnson City grow, so all types of music could thrive in the mountains.
