Keota Race

Thunderhill Raceway will host the 4th Annual Keota Faulkner Memorial.

It will be the final event of the 2024 season at Thunderhill Raceway Park and one of the most anticipated after a season full of exciting events and great racing action all year long.

Some of the best CRUSA Street Stock and Factory Stock drivers in the south will come to the high banks of Thunderhill to battle for bragging rights and a big check to take home. Drivers from multiple states with long resumes will be in attendance
The CRUSA Street Stocks will battle it out for $4,000 to win with over $1,500 in bonus money. The Factory Stock division will compete for $1,500 to win with over $600 in bonus money.

Going into the 4th annual memorial, previous winners include Kentucky’s Clayton Miller with two wins including the defending champion and Hohenwald, Tennessee Oakley Johns claiming the other.

The event honors a devoted mother and wife Keota Faulkner, wife of Kenneth Faulkner. who passed away in 2021. Talking with Kenneth earlier in the week he had expressed how much this race means to him and his family. The support and fellowship of the racers is what Kenneth and his children love seeing the most and they wanted to remind everyone and all drivers that the meaning of this event goes much farther than just a winners check.
As our conversation went on Kenneth made a very valid point and statement. During so he mentioned that many people are losing friends over the sport of racing today. He wants everyone to know that racing should never pull people apart but instead bring everyone together. Kenneth said “Our kids and me want to see a great event and race weekend and for this race to be one that brings everyone together just as Keota would have wanted.”
The weekend will kick off on Friday night with an open practice as Saturday will be race day with a full event of racing on schedule
Classes will include CRUSA Street Stock, Factory Stock, Crusa Open Wheel, Bomber, Mini Stock, Dwarf, 602 Late Model and Kids Mini Cup.
