The festival began in 2003 as the Brownsville Fall Fest and in 2004 was renamed to represent Haywood County's largest natural resource the Scenic Hatchie River and Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge. Organized by a group of dedicated volunteers, this community event is all about the family and highlights the best of Brownsville and Haywood County. Civic-minded businesses and organizations sponsor the annual event that is offered admission-free and open to everyone.
Family-friendly event featuring live music, arts and crafts, children's activities, games and contest … all on Brownsville Tennessee's historic Court Square. The event is held annually on the 3rd Saturday of October.
Arts and Crafts, Music and More
Brownsville's beautiful historic court square is the official festival grounds and offers visitors an excellent shopping opportunity with local retailers and over 100 vendors offering handcrafted items from jewelry to home decor. Listen to live all day music from local and regional entertainers of all genres. Participate in a contest or two, from frozen t-shirt to corn hole, or compete at pie baking. Whatever you choose to see or do, you can't escape the small town atmosphere and fun! Oh, yea. Did we mention all the festival food!
