The Blk Out Fest is a climbing + outdoor festival centering and celebrating Black excellence in rock climbing. This 3-day, 2-night festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee is designed to celebrate the accomplishments of Black athletes, entrepreneurs and creatives through film screenings, a community fellowship dinner and the open air Blk Mkt shopping experience.
This retreat-style festival is designed to provide a safe space for mental wellness and rejuvenation for climbers of the African diaspora. Our commitment to climate action includes group shuttle transportation, composting and an all plant-based menu.
Schedule Of Events
Give Blk Community Day
- 8AM: Sound Bath
- 8:30AM: Coffee and Conversation with Marian Perez
- 8:30AM: Breakfast
- 10AM: Give Blk Community Day | Group Photo
- 2PM: Move Blk Shuttle departs for Atlanta airport (Monday departure also available at 8am)
- 7PM: The Downclimb Afterparty
- Lodging checkout available through Monday, November 4th at 8am; late check-out 10am
