Blk Out Fest

The Blk Out Fest is a climbing + outdoor festival centering and celebrating Black excellence in rock climbing. This 3-day, 2-night festival in Chattanooga, Tennessee is designed to celebrate the accomplishments of Black athletes, entrepreneurs and creatives through film screenings, a community fellowship dinner and the open air Blk Mkt shopping experience.

​This retreat-style festival is designed to provide a safe space for mental wellness and rejuvenation for climbers of the African diaspora. Our commitment to climate action includes group shuttle transportation, composting and an all plant-based menu.

Crag Kickback

- 7AM: Yoga

- 8AM: Breakfast

- 9:30AM: Move Blk Shuttle to Crag

- 10AM: LaSportiva Crag Kickback - Bouldering at Old Wauhatchie Boulders

- 10:15AM: Group Photo

- 4:30PM: Shuttle to Festival Grounds

- 7PM: Fellowship Dinner Presented by Climbing 4 Change and Touchstone Climbing

- 10PM: Fireside Jam Session (bring poetry, instruments or simply your voice to a late night mindful jam session)
