7th President 7K Run
Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage is proud to host the 3rd annual 7th President 7k, a unique course set on the property that the nation’s 7th president once called home. The 7k will take runners across paved pathways and fields as they take in the rolling hills and landscape of The Hermitage property. Runners will get the chance to see Tulip Grove Mansion, the home of Rachel Jackson’s nephew, as well as the Hermitage Church, completed in 1824 as a place for the neighborhood to worship. The race will end at The Hermitage Mansion, the crown jewel of the property. This race will also feature a 2-mile walking course, perfect for those who want to see this historic property.
Prizes will be awarded for the overall male and female winners.
Please be advised, strollers are not recommended for this run, as the course is not fully paved, largely made up of grass, fields and trail. If you choose to bring a stroller, please line up toward the back of the group. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
For the safety of all participants, dogs are not allowed on the course at the 7k event. When utilizing the Grounds Pass to The Hermitage, which is included with your registration, dogs are welcome and free to walk, run and play while leashed on the site. Please bring bags to dispose of pet waste.
PARKING: Please enter off the Old Hickory Blvd entrance. Signs and volunteers will direct you to the parking area.
The event will be held rain or shine. All registrations are final.
