Celebrate Our 80th Anniversary With Us On July 4th!

The Oak Ridge Band Had Its Very First Concert On July 4, 1944. At That Time The Band Was Called The Community Concert Band And Was Organized By The Manhattan Recreation And Welfare Department. A Small Group Of Band Musicians First Began Meeting In December Of 1943 Which Resulted In The First Concert On July 4, 1944.

This First Concert Was Held In Oak Ridge And The Band Played A Program Of Marches.
