Oktoberfest returns to Vermillion September 27th! Celebrate Vermillion's proud German heritage with food, games, and music.
Enjoy Wiener Schnitzel from the Eagles Club and beer from XIX Brewing. Assemble a team for the Bohemian Tractor Pull and lug a vintage tractor down main street. Dress in your best lederhosen or dirndl for the costume contest, try your hand at Hammerschlagen, and compete in the stein holding competition.
Between events, stop by the Vermillion High School German Club booth for cookies and soft pretzels, decorate a library card holder with the Vermillion Public Library, and compete in a pretzel toss. We can't wait to see you there!
Schedule:
5:30 p.m. - Welcome
7–10 p.m. - Polka with Mark Vyhlidal
7 p.m. - Bohemian Tractor Pull (check-in at 6:30).
8:30 p.m. - Stein Holding Competition ft. Alphorn Klängen
10 p.m. - End
Cost: $40 Team Fee (cash only) for Bohemian Tractor Pull
