Uptown Gwd YMCA Run/Walk for Wellness 1K, 3K, 5K
The Lakelands Uptown Greenwood YMCA, situated in the heart of Uptown Greenwood, is dedicated to actively participating in the community and promoting wellness for all individuals.
We are pleased to announce our upcoming 2nd annual Run/Walk For Wellness Annual Race Campaign, aimed at promoting wellness for all. Please be aware that registration fees will apply for youth participants aged 17 and under.
In 2023, the Lakelands YMCA granted $346,592 in scholarships, distributed 130,185 free meals to children, dedicated 850,600 minutes to teaching water safety skills to swimmers, provided 137,880 hours of academic enrichment programs for youth, and engaged 4,932 youth in Y programs.
As we look ahead to 2024, we aim to continue our commitment to serving the Uptown Greenwood community. With your support through participation in our events and/or contributions towards our 2024 Annual Race Campaign, we can achieve this goal.
