Join the Charleston Museum for a new event at the Dill Sanctuary. Enjoy an incredible view of the Stono River and watch the sun dip below the horizon while enjoying this 580-acre wildlife preserve. Guests are invited to join Chief Curator Jennifer McCormick for a guided tour of the earthen Confederate fortification, Battery Pringle before settling in to watch the sunset. Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy the perfect date night, friends’ night out, or settle in after a day of work and take in this breathtaking view and wildlife property. Bring your picnics, coolers (this event is BYOB), chairs and blankets, and join us for this unique sunset experience.
Please note Sunset on the Stono is BYOB. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages. Refreshments not provided at this event.
The Dill Sanctuary, a wildlife preserve, is only open to the public for select programs with The Charleston Museum.
Due to the nature of the wildlife sanctuary, pets are not permitted on the property.
Reservations required. Cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee. Full registration fee may be transferred to other adult programs. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of registration fee.
Tickets include admission to the Dill Sanctuary and guided tour of Battery Pringle.
$20 for Museum Members | $35 for Non-members.
