Pickens County Meals on Wheels 5K Glow Run
Pickens County Meals on Wheels is excited to be hosting our 7th Annual 5K Glow Run. The race will take place in front of the McKissick Center on Hwy 93 and end at the rear of our building on Edgemont Avenue. We will be holding a "Glow Attire Contest" at 7:00pm where participants are encouraged to be creative with their Glow Attire. Awards will be given to First and Second place.
The timed race will begin at 7:30 and we welcome runners and walkers to join in on the festivities this year.
Awards will be given to the top 3 Males and Females in three age brackets: 15 and under, 16 to 29, and 30 and over.
A post-race snack will be provided along with a "Selfie-Station" with UV lighting to post your glow pics on social media!
Pickens County Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making sure that no senior is left isolated or hungry. In 2023 we will provide over 90,000 meals to over 600 senior neighbors in Pickens County. Our budget relies on fundraising and donations to help us continue to provide meals and a friendly safety check to our homebound seniors.
