The Run Around the Block 15K Road Race has a 1:00 pm start time with walk beginning at 12noon. We suggest that you plan to arrive on island with plenty of time to make your way up to the starting line.
The 15K route begins at Isaac's Corner near Fresh Pond. Parking is available at Heinz Field just down the road.
Please present your ID to the volunteers at Isaac's Corner check in to receive your number, T-shirt.
In person registration and check in will be available on Friday September 6th from 4:00 to 6:30 at the Visitor's center and also at the starting line from 11am until 12:45pm.
A box truck will be available at the starting line for runners to stow their belongings in. Items should be well marked with your name and cell phone number. There will be limited room for bicycles on a first come basis.
Join us to celebrate our runners at Capt. Nick's starting at 2pm
There will be music and food for purchase each participant will get 2 free tickets toward a Whalers beer or seltzer
Early registrants will enjoy the lower fee of just $30. Thru July 15th
Those who then register before August 31th will pay $35.
After September 1st the registration fee is $40.
Awards for male and female: under 18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ plus overall male and female.
