Public Input Session – RIPTA Providence Transit Center

As you may be aware, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is currently exploring options to develop a new, modernized public transit center in Providence.

On Monday, May 13, RIPTA and Next Wave Rhode Island Partners are hosting a public engagement session at the Amica Mutual Pavilion, where transit riders and community members from across the state will have an opportunity to learn about RIPTA’s objectives when it comes to a new transit center and provide their opinions and feedback regarding this important project.

Monday’s interactive event will be the first in a series of in-person and virtual public input sessions RIPTA and Next Wave Rhode Island Partners are planning throughout the spring and summer. The event is free to attend; refreshments will be provided; and Spanish, Portuguese and American Sign Language translators will be on-site to provide support as necessary.
