This family-friendly race has drawn as many as 800+ runners and has been known to attract a field of elite runners from local and regional areas, including Olympic Games participants from eleven different countries.

The York Road Runners Club, established in 1976, manages, organizes, and directs the York White Rose Run. This race is put on by runners for runners and is geared to participants of **all abilities and experience levels.

The LIVE race course is the same as the 2023 course. It runs mostly in the City of York, with a short out and back on the beautiful section of the Heritage Rail Trail north of the city.  In brief, the course will wind through the city for three miles (including Farquhar Park) and then cross George St onto the new section of the Heritage Rail Trail, run approximately 1 mile out to the turnaround, and finish at the usual spot on Beaver St north of Philadelphia St.  The start and venue will remain at the White Rose Bar and Grill.
