The Rachel Gernerd Phighting Irish 5K

This year's race features fun for the whole family again! Immediately following the 5K and 1-mile walk, we will be hosting the first annual Kids' Fun Run! All kids 12 and under in attendance are encouraged to participate in a short race in the grassy area near the pavilions. Prizes and awards will be provided!
Please plan to come on out for our outdoor fall festival starting immediately after the race activities and open to all ND Philly club members, friends and family. The festival will feature local food, non-alcoholic drinks, music, giveaways and games for people of all ages. We hope to see you there. All Are Welcome!!

The Phighting Irish 5K honors the life and legacy of Rachel Gernerd, a passionate and dedicated ND Philly club leader who chaired the 5K race committee for many years. Rachel was a beloved member of our ND Philly family — all proceeds benefit the Rachel Gernerd Fund at the University of Notre Dame.
