Lake to Lake 8k Trail Run and Dog Woods Walk
Lacawac Sanctuary is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Lake to Lake 8k Trail Run on Sunday, October 20th, on the trails of Lacawac in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania.
Our Lake to Lake event kicks off at 9:00 AM. Run and Walk through the trails of Lacawac Sanctuary - over 400 acres of wonder, biodiversity and natural beauty. Dogs welcome and encouraged for the woods walk.
ALL FOR A GOOD CAUSE
This autumn trail run and walk is all for a good cause and fun for the whole family. Proceeds support Lacawac's preservation and environmental education programs, scientific research, advocacy and public awareness outreach. Course:
This outdoor course winds throug 550 acres of nature trails and access roads, all on the grounds of Lacawac Sanctuary. Be advised that sections of the course are technical, rocky and steep. No dogs or strollers are allowed on the 8K, but both are welcome on the Woods Walk.
Awards
8k Trail Run - Top three overall Males and Females, plus top three male and female finishers in each age group: 15 & Under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Older.
Dog Woods Walk - Non-competitive.
