Hegins Valley Arts and Craft Faire
History:
The Hegins Arts & Craft Faire was started by Sandy Romberger in August of 1989. She was inspired by the Lititz Craft Faire and after running into Cindy Herring at the event, the idea was born. Sandy knew the Hegins Park would be the perfect venue. The first faire was held in September 1990 with 90 craft vendors and we donated to three charities. In our second year, we increased our crafters to 190. By 1992, we had 206 crafters and added two more charities. We have gone from donating to three organizations to 13 at present.
