About the Dickson City Fire Department
-Eagle Hose Company #1 was incorporated on August 27, 1892. Today, the company is one of the most recognized departments in the area.
-We provide fire suppression and rescue services to our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year while being 100% Volunteer. We also provide Mutual Aid to many surrounding communities.
-The department currently has an active membership comprised of 60 members under the direction of Fire Chief Matthew Horvath.
-We are currently recognized by the PA State Fire Commissioner as an organization that supports, promotes and encourages their emergency response personnel to voluntarily certify within the Commonwealth's Certification Program.
-We have a Junior Fire Department Program open to individuals ages 15-17.
-Our meetings are held on the first and third Monday's of the month at our fire station at 7 pm. The administrative body is led by President Thomas R. Homenchak.
