EMMCO WEST – Our community's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are facing significant challenges due to increasing demand and limited resources. To raise awareness and empower our neighbors, EMMCO West, Inc. will be offering free training in Stop the Bleed and Hands-Only CPR. These life-saving skills can make a crucial difference in emergencies, especially as EMS response times are stretched thin. Join us in supporting our EMS providers by learning how you can help in critical situations. Together, we can strengthen our community's resilience and preparedness.

Franklin Public Library/Friends of the Library Used Book Sale — 10AM-3PM, 421 12th Street.

Gigantic Book Fair/Open House — 10AM-5PM, Venango County Historical Society, 307 S. Park St. Used books of all types. Open house tours for $5.

Apple tattoos — HOLeY Jeans will be doing apple tattoos from 10AM-4:30PM at the West Park Street Gazebo.

Church Tour — 1 PM, Franklin Preservation church at 11th and Buffalo streets (across from the playground).

DeBence Antique Music World — 10AM-5PM, Free guided tours, 1261 Liberty Street.

St. John’s Episcopal Church/Grace Luncheon/ Basket Raffle — 11AM-3PM, 1145 Buffalo Street. (basement level). Soup & Sandwich Luncheon, free ages 2 and under; $5 ages 3 to 12; $10 all others.

Tiffany Window Tours — 10AM, Noon, and 2PM, St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1145 Buffalo Street.

Applefest 5K “Race for Any Pace” — 10AM, Liberty Street. (runners, walkers & wheelchairs). Registration at YMCA (Otter & West Park streets) Call 814-432-2138 for information.

Apple Pie Baking Contest — 11:30AM-1PM, deliver pies to the Barrow-Civic Theatre, 1223 Liberty Street. Pies must be in disposable pans. Winner announced at 5:45 PM in Bandstand Park.

Victorian Residential Architecture Walking Tours — 10:30AM, meet in front of the Post Office at 12th & Elk streets.
Sponsored and led by Franklin Rotary Club.

Vendor booths will be open from 10AM to 6PM, Friday & Saturday, October 4 & 5, 10AM to 5PM Sunday, October 6.
