Founded by Floyd Stokes to promote diversity education, the Amani Festival-meaning "peace" in Swahili-brings together people from all backgrounds through the joy of food, music, dance, art, and shared traditions. Over the years, it has blossomed into a cherished event that attracts visitors from across Central Pennsylvania, showcasing ethnic crafts, delicious cuisine, and rich customs that promote respect and appreciation for all cultures and religions.
