26th Annual Veterans Day Celebration
Since the mid 90s, the VFW and other entities throughout the community have teamed up to put on an event to honor those who served, and continue to serve in the armed forces. Prior to Covid it was recognized as the second largest Veterans Day program in the state.
The day will start with a fundraiser breakfast running from 8 to 11 being cooked up by Britney Bakes and served by the staff of the Air Museum.
A flyover will precede the event anywhere between 10:30 and 10:50 depending on the Air Guards flight plan that morning.
The ceremony will start at 11. Jeff Spink will be our guest speaker and discuss is time in service as a crew member for the SR-71. We will also have music by Joel Baker and Friends.
