Memorial Flag Placement

Once again, our local scouts will honor our fallen veterans this Memorial Day weekend by placing flags on over 1,500 markers at Deschutes Memorial Gardens.
All scouts should be in full Class A uniform, as if for a Court of Honor. A clipboard, something to write with, and a rod or screwdriver to make a pilot hole for the flag would be helpful.
There will be a brief ceremony prior to starting the flag placement featuring an invocation and address by a local veteran.
This event will happen rain or shine and will continue until all flags are placed. All scouts, regardless of level, are welcome.
