5:00 PM: Tree Lighting Ceremony at New City Hall, 206 N. 5th Street
Celebrate the start of the season with us at the festive tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy caroling and storytelling followed by evening holiday shopping in our historic landmark town.
Father Christmas at U.S. Hotel, 125 California Street
Bring your wish list and meet Father Christmas himself! Capture the moment with a photo and let the nostalgia of Christmases past fill your heart. No fees, just smiles and holiday cheer.

10am - Holiday Parade at California and 5th Streets
Our small town parade is big at heart. The historic setting, delightful procession of smiling faces and the celebration of our joyful community spirit is a heartwarming tradition.

Jacksonville Holiday Trolley Lights Tour
Snuggle in for a cozy 45-minute journey on our holiday trolleys through Jacksonville's most enchanting light displays and beloved landmarks.
Nightly in December (No service on December 24 & 25)
Tours every 30 minutes from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Tour duration: 45 minutes.

Holiday Shopping
Local shops are imbued with holiday cheer and have everything you will need to complete your holiday shopping. Additionally, the local restaurants and tasting rooms offer special holiday fare. All of our businesses are independently owned, so you are guaranteed a personal experience.
Evening Shopping: Join us November 29 and 30 for special evening hours when stores will stay open until 7pm.
Festive Quest Bingo
Join us for Festive Quest Bingo and explore Jacksonville's local shops for special offers and hidden treasures.
Pick up your bingo card at the Visitor Center or download it from our website in December.
Collect stamps around town to fill your bingo card.
Submit your completed card at the Visitor Information Center for a small prize (while supplies last) and a chance to win a grand prize.

12:00 PM – 3:00 PM.: Beekman House Victorian Christmas Tours
Learn the 19th-century origins of our Christmas traditions when miners, settlers, and merchants from around the world came to Jacksonville, bringing their customs with them.
Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under

Narrated History Trolley Tours
Let history unfold before your eyes on our narrated trolley tours. Explore Jacksonville's past while enjoying the festive sights and sounds of the season.
Friday, Saturday 10:30 - 2:30, Sunday 11:30 - 2:30. December 7 is Christmas Parade Day, so tours begin at 12:30.

Salvation Army Toy Drive
Join us in spreading holiday cheer and making a child's Christmas special through the Angel Tree Gift Tag initiative.
Purchase an unwrapped gift matching the details on the tag.
Pick up a gift tag from the holiday tree in the lobby.
Return the gift to Brodie Dental or the Salvation Army for distribution.

Hot Apple Cider
Free hot apple cider from volunteers from the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. Enjoy surprise appearances from the Belles and Beaus, Carolers and Bagpipers. You never know who you'll see ambling the streets of Jacksonville.
