The Highlands tale where time stops and love blooms
New Yorkers Tommy and Jeff are vacationing in Scotland when they stumble upon a mysterious village that doesn’t appear on any map. At first the Americans are puzzled by the habits and outdated clothing of the residents, but soon they are charmed. Tommy finds himself drawn to Fiona, and Jeff flirts with Meg. But when a villager tries to leave, the men learn the complex truth: Brigadoon is under a spell, and only comes awake for one day every one hundred years. And if anyone succeeds in leaving, that spell will be broken and Brigadoon, along with its people, will disappear forever. Featuring such standards as "Almost Like Being in Love," and "Come to Me, Bend to Me," Lerner and Loewe’s Brigadoon is a timeless, romantic classic which vividly brings the mystery and magic of the Scottish Highlands to life.
