Bing in the New Year

Bing in the New Year is a free, outdoor, family-friendly New Year's Eve event in downtown Milwaukie that culminates with a 9 p.m. (East Coast midnight) "cherry drop" lowering, by crane, of a 7-foot, lighted Bing cherry designed by Schilling Lights on Lark. The Milwaukie Arts Committee organizes the event.

We will have live music, Chinese cultural performances, food vendors, a beer and mead garden on site, and a cherry drop at 9 pm. In addition, many businesses will be open in downtown Milwaukie for you to shop, eat and celebrate on New Year's Eve!
