The Guymon Fiesta

The Guymon Fiesta today is held on the street at Fifth and Main, celebrating our community and it’s Hispanic heritage. The Oklahoma flew under the Spanish and Mexican flag before it did the Texas and then American flag, and so on this day we celebrate that part of our history and the people from those cultures. It is a day for everyone. The Sunday afternoon and early evening includes music, games, and food all based on the Hispanic culture. There is also the crowning of the Fiesta King and Queen and the awarding of their scholarships. It is a fun time for all.
