8 Best Brunch Spots in Oklahoma!
What’s better than sleeping in on the weekend? Sleeping in, and then enjoying a wonderful, relaxing brunch with friends. If you need ideas on where to get some great grub on the weekends, here are 8 of the best restaurants to find a brunch menu in Oklahoma!
Smoke. on Cherry Street, Tulsa, OK
Dishes at Smoke on Cherry Street are either slow smoked or grilled over a live fire wood grill. The menu changes with the season, because the restaurant sources local ingredients as much as a possible. If you’ve never tried smoked brisket and eggs, you should start with the smoked brisket burrito on your first time here.
Kilkenny’s Irish Pub, Tulsa, OK
Step into this award-winning restaurant and you’ll feel like you’ve gone back to Ireland. You can find a traditional Irish breakfast, but my recommendation is the Boxty. It’s kind of like a potato pancake, but made like an omelet, stuffed with yummy meats and cheeses and covered in a flavorful sauce.
Springs at the Artesian, Sulphur, OK
The chef at the Springs at the Artesian is working hard to offer some specialty items each day. Although brunch is served buffet style, you’re going to have great food when you come down to the Artesian. Reservations are recommended.
Cheever’s Café, Oklahoma City, OK
Cheever’s is now serving brunch. They have some of their lunch favorites on the menu, dressed up for a weekend meal. If you love benedicts, try the cowgirl benedict with the best chicken fried steak in the state.
Picasso Café, Oklahoma City, OK
Picasso Café serves brunch on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. They have a special menu which includes Build-Your-Own-Omelette, Crabcake Benedict and Memphis French Toast, made like Elvis might like it with peanut butter, bananas and local honey.
Painted Horse Bar & Grill, Bartlesville, OK
The Painted Horse is open Saturday morning for brunch, and not only will you find Nordaggio’s Coffee freshly brewed, you’ll also find some of the best brunch food in town. Their fresh fruit plate is a great complement to any meal.
Juan del Fuego, Norman, OK
Juan del Fuego is one of the few places in the Oklahoma metro where you’ll find authentic Mexican food, rather than Tex-Mex. You’ll find traditional brunch fare, but you should go for the spiced-up breakfast fare like papas con chorizo or chilaquileggs.
La Baguette Bistro, Oklahoma City, OK
La Baguette is a French experience in northwest Oklahoma City. Although you can get their breakfast menu, they have some specialties only served during Sunday brunch. It’s one of the nicest places to take Mom or Dad for a special weekend meal.
